Curved fretwork seating Oxford University

The team at Laser Cut Screens were delighted to be asked to design and manufacture 4 large seating and breakout areas in a listed garden at Oxford University. Each pod comprised six different curved sections in three different radii. A complex CAD model was created incorporating the beautiful silver birch bark effect so prevalent within the listed garden.

Combined with hardwood seating sections the organic forms continued throughout the design without a single straight line anywhere on the design.
