Beautiful stairs transformation with bespoke balustrades
We were contacted directly by a customer in Fowey, Cornwall who requested a very unique and bespoke set of balustrades. The customer wanted to keep the original hardwood handrails and newell posts, and replace the old 1970’s timber spindles with a high quality and contemporary look.
The results are truly transformational.
Each balustrade panel was millimetre perfect to the project needs, even to the extent that we incorporated old distorted handrail measurements into the final parts; an example of this can be seen in the image below on the long top landing balustrade panel where it appears to dip slightly in the middle. This was intentional.

Before and after images
We are always asked to provide before and after shots where possible in order to see the amazing transformations that laser cut screens, balustrades and room dividers can create.
The images below show the white timber spindles and mouldings.
the team would like to say a big thank you to the Client Julian Allbutt for all the feedback, and positive discussions throughout the design and finishing processes.
