Beautiful antique mirror reception desk and decorative wall panelling

We were delighted to be commissioned to manufacture bespoke wall panelling for Sobha in Park Lane, London. The brief was to create the effect of one large wall panel in very tight timescales. In addition, during the discussion for panelling we were challenged to manufacture a bespoke curved antique glass reception desk feature which we accepted and are delighted with the results. The desk has antique mirror panels on three sides, and all metalwork is finished in the same anodic bronze powder coated colour and finish.

Feature wall panelling

As the feature wall was so large we need to tesselate the Sobha pattern to ensure there were no visible join marks. Long threaded studs were welded onto the panelling before powder coating, and then located through the timber carcase behind and secured. This also ensured the wall panelling would not delaminate from the wall at any time, and maintained a flatness against such a large area.
